As promised, this #MuseumStory episode is a follow-up to our previous one.

In this episode, we interview two great ladies, Aleia Brown and Adrianne Russell. We talk about the ongoing conversation that they’ve coordinated on Twitter named #MuseumsRespondToFerguson.

While our last episode focused on museum responses to issues of racism, this episode reveals the internal conflict of race behind museum’s doors.

Is the lack of diversity within museum staff contributing to the problem of racism in America?

What can museums do to begin the conversation of racism within their four walls?

These are only a couple of the questions we dissect in this episode.

Side Note: This interview took place back in April 2015. Lots of things have happened since then but the information is still relevant!
