#MuseumStory: Let’s Talk About Real Impact

Posted by Luis | February 19, 2015

We believe in impacting lives. Museums have this belief too.

It’s because of that strong belief that KiwiJar is in route from being an idea to a tangible app.

Our intention is to create a place where we can help people find and connect with museums that were built to impact them. As a result of that connection, we can help museums become better too.

The KiwiJar idea is spreading fast. There has been 150+ signups this month alone!

Gathering Museum Stories

For the next 10 days, we’ll be gathering awesome stories about museums that are impacting people. When we say impact, we mean real impact. The kind that’s worth talking about days, months, or even years later.

The plan is to sift through them and share some of the most impactful ones on this blog throughout March. We hope to inspire people to visit (or revisit) an impactful museum and reinspire museums to really focus on impacting visitors in their own unique way.

find museums, impact lives

Note: You’ve probably seen this image before. We reused it because it reminds us of people in search of adventure and impact.

If you have a story about a museum that stood out and left a real impact on you, please share it with us. If you’re a museum and have a special story about a visitor you made a real impact on, we’d love to hear about it too.

There are two ways to submit your story:

  1. You can submit your story using this form
  2. You can blog your story on your own website and share it with us on social media using the hashtag #MuseumStory. Don’t forget to mention us @KiwiJarApp so we don’t miss it.

Please submit your stories by March 1st, 2015.

We’re really excited to read all your stories. Follow @KiwiJarApp and #MuseumStory in March to read all of the awesome stories!
